Ashok Kumar Puranik MBBS, Masters General Surgery, Fellowship Surgery & Trauma (Australia) is a General Surgeon Objective To demonstrate his surgical proficiency and ensure the best possible pre and post-surgical care to the patients confined in esteemed hospital. Long exposure of protocol oriented and ethical surgeries learned abroad during Australia’s tertiary care hospitals work exposure, adequate skill in performing general surgeries 2. Experience in removing both malignant and benign tumors of breast, thyroid, salivary glands, abdominal and retroperitoneal organs. 3. Prior work in use of vacuum assisted closure of wounds, wound care of diabetic foot including indicated major and minor amputations. 4. Acute care surgeries including emergency thoracotomy,vascular repair and damage control surgeries especially during emergency situations 5. Expertise in conducting minimally-invasive surgical procedures, includes lap appendicectomy,lap cholecystectomy, lymph node biopsy, incisional and inguinal hernia surgeries 6. Ability to perform all kinds of anorectal surgical procedures efficiently including stapled haemorrhoidectomies. 7. Proficiency in diagnosing conditions that require general surgery 8. Updated with the newest trends in trauma care, lap surgeries and wound management.
