A surgical procedure in a human or animal in which a body tissue or organ is transferred from a donor to a recipient or from one part of the body to another. Organs that can be transplanted are the heart, kidneys, liver, lungs, pancreas, intestine, and thymus. Types of transplant include: Xenograft and xenotransplantation, Xenograft and xenotransplantation . Because very young children do not have a well-developed immune system, it is possible for them to receive organs from otherwise incompatible donors. This is known as ABO-incompatible (ABOi) transplantation.

Chronic kidney disease is a major health concern in this country afflicting more than eight million Americans. Implants are mechanical body parts that are inserted by orthopaedic surgeons when the original parts have worn out, a process which is known as replacement surgery. The minimally invasive surgical instruments market is poised to reach $14,133.0 million by 2019 from $10,526.2 million in 2014, at a CAGR of 6.1% from 2016 to 2019

The report segments the global minimally invasive surgical instruments market by product, application, and region. On the basis of products, the market is segmented into handheld instruments, cutter instruments, inflation systems, guiding devices, and auxiliary instruments. The guiding devices segment is estimated to be the fastest-growing product segment during the forecast period.

On the basis of applications, the minimally invasive surgical instruments market is divided into cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, cosmetic/bariatric surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, gynaecological surgery, urological surgery, orthopaedic surgery, and others (ENT/respiratory surgery, neurological surgery, dental surgery, and paediatric surgery). Cardiothoracic surgery accounted for the largest segment in the MIS instruments applications market. On the other hand, the orthopaedic surgery segment is expected to be the fastest-growing market in the forecast period, attributing to the increasing bone ailments such as osteoporosis, arthritis, and spine injuries among the elderly population.

Growth of this market is propelled by the increasing number of surgical procedures among the elderly, the advantages of minimally invasive surgeries over traditional open surgeries, and reduced healthcare costs. However, high cost of MIS instruments, reimbursement challenges in the medical device industry, and an uncertain regulatory framework in the medical device industry are factors that are restraining the growth of the market.

Though cosmetic or aesthetic surgery is the most well-known kind of plastic surgery, plastic surgery itself is not necessarily considered cosmetic; and includes many types of reconstructive surgery, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, and the treatment of burns.  The target audiences are mostly Surgeons, Cosmetologists, Dermatologists, Medical Professors, Medical Students, Nurses, Surgical tool technicians and Healthcare Industrials.

Reconstructive surgery  is done on the abnormal structures of the body due to congenital defects, developmental abnormalities, trauma, etc. It is generally performed to improve body functions, and also be done for  normal cosmetic appearance. Health Insurance policies covered for Reconstructive surgery, although coverage for specific procedures and levels of coverage may vary greatly. Reconstructive surgery can lift Brows and  revitalize drooping  foreheads, helps you to look cool, without disappointment.  Pediatric plastic surgery is done on children. Most of the procedures  are  often conducted for reconstructive purposes.  The Body dysmorphic disorder (also known as BDD, body dysmorphia, dysmorphic syndrome),  a disorder that involves belief that one's own appearance is unusually defective.

Track 3: Ophthalmic Surgery

Eye surgery, also known as ocular surgery, is surgery performed on the eye or its adnexa, typically by an ophthalmologist. The eye is a fragile organ, and requires extreme care before, during, and after a surgical procedure. An expert eye surgeon is responsible for selecting the appropriate surgical procedure for the patient, and for taking the necessary safety precautions. Market Scope reported a 6.6% decline in 2013 when compared to 2012. Surgical volumes for ophthalmology are expected to increase 30-50%. Globally, about 350,000 vitreoretinal surgeries are performed each year.

LASIK commonly referred to as laser eye surgery or laser vision correction, is a type of refractive surgery for the correction of myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. The LASIK surgery  is performed by anophthalmologist who uses a laser or microkeratome to reshape the eye's cornea in order to improve visual acuity. For most patients, LASIK provides a permanent alternative to eyeglasses or contact lenses.Cataract and Glaucoma Surgery. This surgery uses a laser to reshape your cornea. It corrects mild-to-moderate nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Dependence on glasses or contact lenses after the surgery reduces. The surgery most likely takes less than 30 minutes. Conditions commonly evaluated and treated by our physicians include retinal tears and detachments, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, ocular trauma, ocular tumors, inflammatory ocular conditions, hereditary retinal diseases and a variety of less common, highly complex disorders.  We utilize the most advanced, state-of-the-art techniques to provide the best treatment available today for vision threatening diseases. Oculoplastic surgeons are ophthalmologists who specialize in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the periorbital and facial tissues including the eyelids, eyebrows, forehead, cheeks, orbit (bony cavity around the eye), and lacrimal (tear) system. Surgery involving tear glands. There are different surgical procedures used depending on your lacrimal system problem. When the nasolacrimal duct is blocked an outpatient procedure called balloon dacryoplasty is performed that uses a high-pressure balloon probe. Malposition or eyelid weakness can be surgically corrected by repositioning and tightening the lids.Dacryocystorhinostomy  (DCR) is a same-day procedure in which the surgeon creates an opening in the bone between the blocked tear sac and the nose

Track 4: Otolaryngology

ENT or Otolaryngologists diagnose and treat diseases of the ears, nose,  and throat, as well as structures of the neck and face. Every year  about 35 million people develop chronic sinusitis, making it one of the most common health complaints.

Otolaryngologists are trained to treat in the head and neck area,  infections, and malignant tumors,  reface and trauma. The surgery  performed both  for cosmetic plastic and reconstructive surgery. The ENT specialists take  care for proper hearing, and facial  disorder. Endoscopic endonasal surgery is a minimally invasive technique by the  surgeon to view inside the  nose to correct problems or remove polyps or  tumors.  Rhinology ,  sinus surgery is a subspecialty that manages nasal and sinus problems. Treating for common problems such as nasal blocks, allergy, and sinusitis. The Laryngology and Voice Disorders diagnoses diseases of benign and malignant tumors the larynx, voice disorders and alterations of laryngeal function.

Track 5: Oral Surgery

Oral and Maxillofacial surgery  treats defects, injuries  in the face, jaws the hard and soft tissues of the oral (mouth) and Maxillofacial (jaws and face) region. It is a super speciality .  Several  Universities involved in surgical activity around the globe. Endodontics is the dental specialty concerned with the study and treatment of the dental pulp. Prosthodontics, is the area of dentistry that focuses on dental prosthesis. Orthodontics to treat irregularities in the teeth and jaws. To treat  malignant tumors in the mouth and jaws.

Track 6: Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery

C.T.  surgery  is the surgey done on the heart or great vessels performed by specialists surgeons. Frequently, it is done to treat complications of IHD  and CABG (coronary artery bypass grafting), correct congenital heart disease, or treat valvular heart diseases from different causes such as  endocarditis, rheumatic heart disease and atherosclerosis. It also includes heart transplantation. PAD is a disease of the blood vessels that occurs outside of the vessels of the heart and brain characterized by  narrowing  blood vessels due to  atherosclerosis The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)  patients who are seriously ill with heart or lung problems.

Track 7: Neurosurgery

Neurosurgery or  the brain and nervous surgery   is medical specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and disorders to rehabilitation that  which affect any portion of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, cranio - cerebral vascular system and peripheral nerves. Neurotology is a branch of clinical medicine which studies and treats neurological disorders of the ear. Cranioplasty is surgical procedure to correct a deformity or defect in  the brain  and it is usually performed for different   injuries to the skull or  previous brain surgery.   Robotic  radiosurgery is Cyber Knife  system used for treating  tumors and other medical conditions.

Orthopediians treat certain  surgical and nonsurgical procedures to treat musculoskeletal and  sports injuries, degenerative soft tissue diseases,  orthopedic related congenital disorders. Fractures of the long bone and short bones hands and feet and  ankle surgery is part  of orthopedics. Spine surgery   aims to  removing a prolapsed or dislocated  disc which  causes pain, also with implants for proper position for  the purpose of providing pain relief and posture.

Track 9: Obstetrics and Gynaecological Surgery

Gynecological surgery refers to surgery on the female reproductive system. Gynecological surgery is usually performed by gynecologists. It includes procedures for benign conditions, cancer, infertility, and incontinence. The gynecological devices market was worth USD 3.4 billion in 2011 and is expected to reach USD 5.3 billion in 2018, growing at a CAGR of 6.4% from 2012 to 2018. In the gynecological devices market, the surgical devices segment is the largest revenue generator. The major drivers of this market are growth in acceptance of minimally invasive surgical procedures as a viable substitute for hysterectomy, increase in the prevalence of gynecological conditions, growth in women's preference for more innovative and effective gynecological procedures, rise in the global healthcare expenditure and the aging baby boomer population. On the other hand, lack of capital availability to small manufacturers and delays in the approval procedures in North America are expected to hold back the growth of this market. The target audiences are mostly Surgeons, Gynecologists, Medical Professors, Medical Students, Nurses, Surgical tool technicians and Healthcare Industrials.

Hysterectomy  is the surgical removal of the uterus. It may also involve removal of the cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes and other surrounding structures. A hysterotomy (also known as an emergency abdominal rescue in cases of shoulder dystocia) is an incision in the uterus, commonly combined with a laparotomy during a caesarean section. Hysterotomies are also performed during fetal surgery. Vaginectomy  is a surgical procedure to remove all or part of the vagina. Vulvectomy refers to a gynecological procedure in which the vulva is partly or completely removed. Urogynecology involves the diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence and female pelvic floor disorders. Female genital mutilation (FGM), also known as female genital cutting and female circumcision, is the ritual removal of some or all of the external female genitalia.

Track 10: Urology

Urology  is the  urinary tract system in male and female and reproductive organs. In male urologic oncology concerns with  the treatment of malignant genitourinary diseases such as prostrate  cancer,  bladder, kidneys, ureters, testicles, and penis. In children Urologic disorders such as  cryptorchidism, congenital abnormalities of the genitourinary tract, preterm  genitalia and vesicoureteral  reflux. The closed manipulation of the urinary tract is called as Endourology.

Endourology  is the branch of urology that deals with the closed manipulation of the urinary tract. Urologic oncology concerns the surgical treatment of malignant genitourinary diseases such as cancer of the prostate,  bladder, kidneys, ureters, testicles, and penis. Neurological diseases and disorders such as a stroke, multiple, Parkinson's disease, and spinal cord injury can disrupt the lower urinary tract and result in conditions such as urinary incontinence,  overactivity, urinary retention, and detrusor sphincter dyssynergia. Pediatric urology concerns urologic disorders in children. Such disorders include cryptorchidism, congenital abnormalities of the genitourinary tract, enuresis, underdeveloped genitalia and vesicoureteral reflux. Andrology focuses on the male reproductive system. It is mainly concerned with male infertility, erectile dysfunction and ejaculatory disorders, along with some issues regarding pediatric such as growing so much that your body cannot handle. Reconstructive urology is a highly specialized field of urology that restores both structure and function to the genitourinary tract.

Track 11: Transplant Surgery

Transplant surgery is a  surgical procedure on human in which a body tissue or organ is transferred from a donor. Organs such as  Heart, lung, liver, kidney, corneal, and bone-marrow transplants are performed to treat life-threatening illness. Autografts  is  the transplant of tissue to the same person. In 2009, the physicians at the University of Illinois has  performed the first robotic kidney transplantation on an obese recipient.

Autografts  are the transplant of tissue to the same person. Sometimes this is done with surplus tissue, tissue that can regenerate, or tissues more desperately needed elsewhere. An allograft  is a transplant of an organ or tissue between two genetically non-identical members of the same species. A subset of allografts in which organs or tissues are transplanted from a donor to a genetically identical recipient (such as an identical twin). is known as ABO-incompatible (ABOi) transplantation. Until recently, people labeled as obese were not considered appropriate candidates for renal transplantation. As of January 2014, over 100 people that would otherwise be turned down because of their weight have successfully been transplanted. Amputation is the removal of a limb by trauma, medical illness, or surgery.

      Track 12: Acute Care Surgery

Acute care surgery  is a branch of secondary health care where a patient receives active  treatment for a severe injury  or episodes of illness,  it is an urgent medically serious  condition, or during recovery from surgery. Acute care surgery need  support of multi speciality surgeons to treat and operate on the injured. The target audiences are mostly Surgeons, Medical Professors, Medical Students, Nurses, Surgical tool technicians and Healthcare Industrials.

Surgical critical care is a specialty of surgery and a primary component of general surgery related to the care of patients with acute, life-threatening or potentially life-threatening surgical conditions. There are two main categories of burn surgery: acute and reconstructive. Acute burn care occurs immediately after the injury. Reconstructive burn surgery  may be required after the initial burn wounds have healed. Trauma surgery is a surgical specialty that utilizes both operative and non-operative management to treat traumatic injuries, typically in an acute setting and normally focuses on the abdominal area along with any given 'Emergency' field they may be required to serve upon. Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is the sudden failure of the respiratory (breathing) system.

Track 13: Perioperative Care and Anaesthesiology

Perioperative and Anaesthesiology is the practice of medicine dedicated to the relief of pain and total care of the patient. The target audience are professors, surgeons, medical students, nurses, surgical  technicians, bio medical engineers and Healthcare Industries.Surgery is one of the most commonly used treatments to attempt cure of early-stage and  late-stage treatments.   The target audiences are mostly Surgeons, Medical Professors, Medical Students, Nurses, Surgical tool technicians and Healthcare Industrials.

Surgical treatments to modify airway anatomy, known as sleep surgery, are varied and must be tailored to the specific airway obstruction needs of a patient.  A stent is a small stainless steel tube that is permanently placed inside an artery to keep it open.Intrathecal analgesia (IA)  is a type of pain control. It is also called spinal anesthesia. Neurosurgical anesthesia or neuroanesthesia focuses on patients undergoing brain or spinal cord surgery. Cardiothoracic anesthesiology is a subspeciality of the medical practice of anesthesiology devoted to the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of adult patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery and related invasive procedures.

Track 14: Advancements in Surgery

Advancements in Surgery  is  medical specialty which is  latest in  technology. The Robotic surgery is  to perform surgery using robotic arm. Laser Technology for some surgeries which has to be attended on emergency with the trained specialist and assistants for a successful surgery with guided scopies for accuracy. The global minimally invasive surgery market will grow at a CAGR of 10.5% between 2013 and 2019. TMR a market intelligence firm based in the United States, in its report states that the global minimally invasive surgery market, which was valued at US$25.03 billion in 2012, will reach a worth of US$50.60 billion by 2019.The target audiences are mostly Surgeons, Medical Professors, Medical Students, Nurses, Surgical tool technicians and Healthcare Industrials.

Robotic surgery  is a method to perform surgery using very small tools attached to a robotic arm. Laser surgery is surgery using a laser (instead of a scalpel) to cut tissue. The surgeon controls the robotic arm with a computer. Microsurgery is a general term for surgery requiring an operating microscope. In minimally invasive surgery, surgeons use a variety of techniques to operate with less injury to the body than with open surgery. Laparoscopy — surgery done through one or more small incisions, using small tubes and tiny video cameras and surgical instruments — was one of the first types of minimally invasive surgery. Another type of minimally invasive surgery is robotic surgery. It provides a magnified, 3-D view of the surgical site, which gives the surgeon great precision, flexibility and control. Thyroidectomy  is the most common endocrine surgical procedure being carried out throughout the world. Besides, many patients who have deranged thyroid physiology, namely hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, have to undergo various elective and emergency surgical procedures at some stage of their life. The attending anesthesiologist has to face numerous daunting tasks while administering anesthesia to such patients. The challenging scenarios can be encountered at any stage, be it preoperative, intra-op or postoperative period. Angioplasty is a procedure in which a narrowed section of the coronary artery is widened. Angioplasty is less invasive and has a shorter recovery time than bypass surgery. Surgical technologists are members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons.

Surgery  or may be called a surgical procedure  is medical specialty that uses operative manual and instrumental techniques on a patient to investigate and/or treat a pathological condition to help improve bodily function and repair unwanted ruptured areas. Surgery is a technology consisting of a physical intervention on tissues, and muscle. Several Surgery Conferences  are organised in many countries, which include conferences based on the body parts, Emergency etc. Though cosmetic surgery or aesthetic surgery is the most well-known kind of plastic surgery , plastic surgery itself is not necessarily considered cosmetic; and includes many types of reconstructive surgery, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, and the treatment of burns. Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery is surgery on the heart or great vessels performed by cardiac surgeons. Frequently, it is done to treat complications of ischemic heart disease (for example, coronary artery bypass grafting), correct congenital heart disease, or treat valvular heart disease from various causes including endocarditis, rheumatic heart disease and atherosclerosis. Pediatric Surgery conferences helps to compel the risks and advantagesinvolved in the surgery of fetuses, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. Bariatric surgery conferences discuss problems related to the stomach and/or intestines that help patients with extreme obesity to lose weight.General surgery conferences helps to gain familiarity with a broad spectrum of diseases that may require surgical treatment. Associations organise Breast Surgery Conferences  which attract healthcare professionals, general surgeons who treat patients with breast disease, discussing the possibilities to continually improve the practice of breast surgery by serving as an advocate for surgeons who seek excellence in the care of breast patients.Trauma Surgeries are most common which is required to treat traumatic injuries, typically in an acute setting and normally focuses on the abdominal area along with any given 'Emergency' field they may be required to serve upon. Conferences on Cardiac surgery are carried out to get an insight on the effects and positives that arise while performing surgeries to correct problems with the heart. Medical-Surgical conferences  attract Nurses who provide direct care to adult patients in a variety of settings and are the largest group of nurses, accounting for almost 1/6 of the nursing profession.
